This yoga studio is the best that I have been to. All the instructors I had so far, e.g. Alana, Kristina, Anne, Louise and Jean-Christophe, are all friendly, kind, good-spirited, knowledgeable and helpful. I could tell they genuinely care about yoga and teaching yoga so all the yogis from beginners to pros can practice safely without risking injuries. They encouraged students to go at their own pace yet would encourage them to challenge themselves mentally and physically without any pressure. I have gone to different yoga studios and attended yoga classes at the gym and none of the teachers elsewhere cared as much as Yoga Bound instructors about safe practice and correct posture.
The setup of the studio is down-to-earth, which is what I identify myself with. It is basically a house transformed into a yoga studio with the lack of many amenities that other fancier studios have such as a shower, towels, toiletries, etc. These amenities are always nice to have, but not necessary for a yoga place to be beneficial to my well-being and experience. Without these extra perks, they could offer more affordable prices compared to other bigger name or chain studios. The decor makes you feel like you walk into someone's cozy house with comforting candle scents and good vibes. One thing I really like about this studio is the lack of mirrors. I have learned to feel my body when I am in an asana. The teachers always help students correct their forms too.
Having gone to other yoga places made me truly appreciate the yogis and instructors who make this studio a fun place to go to. This place just gave me good vibes, including the yogis who go there. I'm glad I found this studio and I hope things will not change too much down the road!
