In a recent visit I received the same outstanding service that I have been getting at Toyomotors for 15 years! We have an older RAV 4 and a Prius and both cars just keep purring along thanks to the care and expertise of the staff at Toyomotors. Their reminders to keep up with routine maintenance are very useful and they have diagnosed and fixed the few problems we have had before the problems created driving catastrophes.

Was not so pleased that the replacement of coils were overlooked when I brought car in three weeks ago. I was in a road trip when problem occurred, it would have save me time, money and worries if this was addressed originally. Three weeks ago noticed no improvement on performance. This week better performance after coil was replaced. I'm not an automotive expert, I leave that to your shop. Let me know if at least I can recover some of my expense 800 and 400, total of 1200 seem too much for the work done. At time I was advice of price this week I had no choice I had to get the car in proper working condition. thanks Neil.

Hello Cesar, we are very sorry you experienced problems on your road trip, we know this can be very frustrating.

3 weeks ago: You came to us for basic check-up. We uncovered a slightly overdue maintenance item, spark plugs, there was no performance issues whatsoever. With your permission we replaced the spark plugs and the car ran perfect.

Last week: You came to us with a rough running vehicle, that had a check engine light on. We were able to isolate the problem to a coil issue coupled with spark plugs being fouled due to misfire, and the additive that you added to the gas tank while on the road trip. We opted to replace all the coils because they were the same age and the same labor to do one or all.

Again we are sorry that you experienced problems, but please understand we did not cause the issue, nor could we have prevented the issue unless we sold you a thousand dollar spark plug job (including coils) which would be cost prohibitive, and in most cases unnecessary. We hope you understand, if you need to speak to me further, call me directly.
