I've been going to this office for 7 years and really only go once per year for my annual eye exam. My interactions have generally been very pleasant and part of the reason I continue going to this office, even though I no longer live close by, is the consistency of care from one year to the next. Unfortunately I can't use that as a reason this year. My appointment was on a Saturday and it was busy, with several patients there for their appointments. I did not see Dr. Lambright and the majority of the office staff was new. That said, I walked away from this experience feeling that the emphasis was to sell me glasses and not my overall eye health. The reason for this was first, after discussing with the doctor that I use my contacts as my primary form of eye correction and that I was on my last pair, a re-order was never communicated. I didn't check my bill which was my fault and would've clued me in. The reason I didn't check was because the total amount was roughly $100 more than what I paid last year for contacts, a full pair of glasses, and a pair of lenses which is what I THOUGHT I got this year. Instead, after waiting a week and no contacts arriving I called only to be told I didn't tell them I wanted contacts ordered and it was an additional $250. To make matters even more frustrating was waiting another week, no contacts and no follow up phone call. I'm now over a month out from the original appointment and still no contacts because the supplier is out of stock. I get that the office doesn't control the supply and manufacture of the contacts but what it does have control over is communication and customer service which was decidedly lacking.

While i liked my experience with the doctor, they made me wait for a long time and didn't tell me how long I'd wait for. Their staff is pushy to buy high end products.

Dr. Raska is as good as they get. Very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions with clear and easy to understand answers. Very pleasant personality. Also, the entire staff was friendly. Hard to imagine a better experience at an eye Dr's!
