I do not post reviews very frequently. I probably should, but I tend to only do it when I find something or my experience with something exceptional. A friend of mine recommended the Panther Hollow Dental Lodge, and, trusting her judgement, I set up an appointment for an exam. I was also honestly drawn to the non-traditional cozy atmosphere of the office. The receptionist was immediately friendly and walked me through the steps necessary for the paperwork. I was greeted by Kim and taken to the exam room. There was a window with a nice view of the outdoors, and everything felt FAR from sterile (there was a blanket off to the side with a moose on it). Both Kim and Dr. Reynolds walked me through each test they were doing, explaining the purpose along the way in a friendly, but professional tone. Dr. Reynolds actually asked questions to get to know me, such as where I'm from, what I do, and engaged in a conversation with me on subjects other than my teeth.
I am a teacher. On a daily basis, I must put on a strong, confident face and fight a lot of the same battles with my students, and often times their parents too. I am passionate about my job though and that is what keeps me going. I mention this because, it would have been very easy for Dr. Reynolds or anyone else in that office to not put forth so much effort in welcoming a new patient, but they did because they are clearly passionate about what they do. This kind of integrity goes a long way in building my confidence in a medical professional. That first impression can often make or break a relationship, and as a result, I cannot say enough positive things about this office. Please keep up the great work and I am looking forward to my next appointment!
