My kids have been going to Kids a Dental Center for 12 years now & I wouldn't take them anywhere else. The KDC staff & Dentists are top notch & super kid friendly! Love KDC!

Everyone in the office including the dentist are very nice and friendly. It's a fun environment for the kids and teens. The only think that I do not agree with is if you have to cancel your appointment due to something else coming up that requires you to cancel your appointment and reschedule. If you do not cancel your appointment within 24 hours from the time your appointment is scheduled, you will be charged a $40 inconvenience fee. Example: If your appointment is scheduled at 2pm and you do not call before 2pm the day before your scheduled appointment, you are required to pay $40. They are not like normal doctor/dental offices where as long as you all the day before your appointment, you can cancel without paying a fee (if a fee applies). I called the day before my appointment but after I got off work and was told I would be billed $40 because I didn't call before 11am when my appointment was scheduled for the next day at 11am. Other than that, everything else is good.

Dear patient thank you so much for your feedback. We totally understand and respect your opinion. We do understand that things always come up last minute and life is a bit unpredictable. We pride ourselves working with parents around these issues. Unfortunately on your account we have numerous cancellation appointments and the cancellation fee is really not an inconvenience fee from our end but rather to get our emergency patients appointments that they desperately need to get them out of pain. Our policy is simply for us to find out as soon as possible if a patient can't make their appointment so that we can in return contact our emergency families ASAP to get the child in and out of pain. Thank you in advance for your understanding and sorry for the trouble.

The staff is always very welcoming with a ready smile! We have never waited more than 5 minutes past our appointment time to be seen. The dentists are professional, courteous, and very good with our son! Thank you!

We came in to have 3 of my son's baby teeth extracted. The staff did all they could to make him comfortable. Dr. Abdoll started by walking him through the procedure in a way that my son had no idea he was having his teeth removed. The entire time Dr. Abdoll kept my son calm, comfortable, and fearless. Dr. Abdoll was so quick and efficient my son had no idea his teeth had been removed. He will be our dentist their whole childhood.

We've had good experiences here for years so this one star rating is only for this last visit because it was really traumatizing for my son. He was getting sealants and the person doing them clearly didnt read anything in his file about how he has autism, a history of gagging easily(threw up at his last sealant appt from gagging) has difficulty opening his mouth wide and trouble breathing through his nose. They have always worked well with is in the past about these things and I have enjoyed this place very much until this time. My dad took him and when they returned they were both so traumatized even my dad said he would never take my son there again. Apparently he was gagging and choking from all the stuff in his mouth to the point where he was screaming, crying, kicking, begging for them to stop and having to be physically held down by my dad per the dentist's instruction. My son was genuinely having trouble breathing properly and the dentist wouldn't stop, instead she told him to be quiet because he was scaring the other kids and to just hold still so she could finish. She is so lucky he didnt actually choke or pass out but he was emotionally traumatized and for a child with autism that can mean a lifelong aversion to something. I wish she had stopped and given him a moment to calm down and talked him through it or just rescheduled for another time with sedation. I am just so sad my precious little man had to endure that and be so scared like that. I have told the manager and she said she would deal with it but unfortunately I dont think he will ever be able to go back without having a complete meltdown just walking in the door because of this. Just one bad experience in a few years of all being good. Im not saying dont go here, this was just an unfortunate circumstance.

Thank you for providing us a feedback. We apologize for the experience that your son had this time around. Dr Davis did review the Medical History of the patient and knew his history pretty well as she has treated him for many years. Dr Davis had recommended Nitrous Oxide due to his Medical History which is not customary to do sealants but we got it approved through his insurance due to his Medical History.Unfortunately sedations are usually not approved to do sealants only. Given the Medical History, Dr Davis did try her best but things didn't go as expected and we are sorry. He has always done much better with you present in the office but we had never approached any treatment without any type of sedation in the past either. Now we know to have a different approach for any treatment in the future and we recommend that you be present. Again, thank you for your feedback.
