Erin did a wonderful job on my hair. However, my overall experience the morning of my wedding was stressful. For some reason, my mom decided to cut my sister's hair. Kim had to tell my mom to stop for legal reasons, which was the right thing to do. However, no one was expecting that you couldn't even TOUCH a person's hair. This isn't common knowledge. It was no one's fault. It was miscommunication from the time we requested this appointment. It also was my understanding that my bridal party could get ready in the bright-lit area from 7:30-9am, but they started getting kicked out at 8:30. That was also around the time Erin finished my hair so I had to put my makeup on in the Spa. The spa was too dark for me to see anything so I applied my makeup in a chair by the window. My photographer stopped taking pictures of me because she could tell I was upset. As Erin place my veil and hair piece, people started coming into the salon and were staring at me. I was so embarrassed, I was fighting back tears. I hope that in the future, the rules about getting ready in the studio are more clear so other brides and families do not have the same experience. To sum things up, Erin did a wonderful job, but my overall experience was poor.
