It was honestly the best salon I've ever visited. My partner Tammy found the place, and she is very picky. We made appointments for yesterday, 4/20/15. We were far from disappointed, a galaxy away.
It was more of an experience than just a an appointment to get your hair done. It has a very open layout, and beautifully lit. It's very glamorous and modern in it's decor. All of the staff were kind and welcoming, as well as very beautiful and well maintained in appearance. They offer you a glass of wine! Red or white! I don't drink, but they also have soda and water available. Very cool. The seating is a very comfortable couch with small tables, and it really does feel like you're waiting at home. There is artwork and beautiful hairstyle pictures around. There is also an area dedicated to various types of accessories.
I went to another place during my shampoo. The stylist massaged my scalp in a way that made me feel I should pay extra. There are TV screens on the wall with flowing images of beautiful scenery, and waterfalls flowing in reverse. I sat in a recliner with my feet up...I don't know how to finish this sentence.
There are master stylists and junior stylists. I had a junior stylist. I am Puerto Rican and have very difficult to style hair. It is very curly, dry, and breaks easy. It gets frizzy when a gray cloud shows up. I'm also bad at maintaining it because most salons cannot deal with my hair. I walked in looking a mess. My stylist didn't even blink. She approached my hair with complete confidence, and gave me great advice. At the end of my session I looked like a different woman. My stylist managed to tame my hair, smooth it, and cut it in a way that looks like I visit the salon often. I felt beautiful. You'd never know how much I neglected my hair beforehand, and that was the work of their Junior stylist.
They put any products you purchase in a gift bag complete with colored paper. I made a future appointment right then and there. This is now my salon.
