Hygienist seemed to be confused she almost dropped my cap down my throat ,only cleaned half my teeth, brushed not even half and said I guess you can get the floss myself at home. I realize the dentist was in and out and replaced the cap. I just got my front tooth/root extracted and need to schedule my 2 hour bridge work. This bridge is very important to me . Do I need to be concerned? She also took x-Rays of 3 and 8 but only sent one of them to oral surgeon so he had to take another x-Ray.
I used to really enjoy coming, but now it feels like it is more about quantity than quality which is sad. I also used to get in and out and now, I literally have been stuck in the waiting room for over an hour. Not sure what happened to the service, but I wish it would improve. There are also a couple hygienists who seem to not know what they are doing or just don't seem to care, which is frightening.
My teeth are clean. It was a very quiet visit. Almost too quiet. The dentist was on vacation and I was the only patient in the building.I will be going back to see the dentist in another week. I'm sure things will be busy again in the office.
I work in a busy Doctors office on the front line and I know it gets busy, but when checking in I felt ignored. There are two people who work at your windows but I stood there not acknowledged for a while. Then when my paperwork was completed I again stood waiting to be acknowledged. I was not the only patient in the waiting room who experienced this and I was enough to prvoke a response or two by others in that same position when they sat down. Alsoyour small front desk staff area looks very cluttered and disorganized. Not a professional appearance. As far as my cleaning and exam it went well. I did have to inform my new dental tech I would not be able to have bite wing xrays as they cause me a lot of pain and that I would pay the extra to have the other machine. She told me that I might not be seen if I did not have bite wing xrays and she would have to check with the Dr. I did have the stand up machine (she forgot to have me remove my earings so it made for an interesting xray, but she was new so I get that mistakes happen) But if that was the case I would be fine taking my dental care elsewhere. My dentist was kind and very personable.
Excellent service, as always. Maine has a strange rule on fog lights for State Inspection: you do not have to have fog lights, but if you do, they have to work! AMC replaced the burned-out club in mine and I passed!
