Please do not e-mail me again. My last appointment for cut& highlights was not very good. I was quoted a price, when I went to pay it was 30.00 more, it is way too expensive for a training salon!

I thoroughly enjoy the professionalism shown by each employee. I have curly hair and the color and cut are always very complimentary to making my curls look there best! Everyone is so friendly and it is always a wonderful experience overall.

Casey Braun highlighted my hair and she did an excellent job. She was professional, efficient, and very nice. I have dark hair naturally and she was able to give me beautiful light blonde highlights. My hair felt and looked great, and I received compliments on the color all day! The salon was clean and relaxing, and I enjoyed my time there. I will definitely return.

The William Edge Prodedgy stylist are always courteous and professional. They provide honest consultations and openly share feedback. I have been a customer for 1 1/2 years, visit the salon monthly and have never had a bad visit. This is a top notch team.

I was very disappointed in William Edge Prodedgy Salon. I had called the salon twice to schedule hair and make up (9 March and then 13 March). The first time, I was told that Casey, the wedding coordinator would call me later that day (she did not). The second time, I spoke with Nikki (the manager) and Sarah. Sarah was very polite, and scheduled both my trial and the actual hair and make up for the wedding (my wedding was 30 May). I verified that the trial was included with the hair and make up price I was quoted ($491- four updos for Bride + three Bridesmaids and two make up applications for Bride+ Mom), and Sarah said that it was included. I also offered to pre-pay, but Sarah said that I would pay afterwards.

On 18 April, I had my hair and make up trial with Kindsley and Alicia. Kindsley was great! She was very nice, and my hair was exactly how I wanted it (An updo similar to one Kate Middleton had worn). Alicia did my makeup, and it was much heavier than I wanted, and she assured me that this would look better in pictures. I was apprehensive, but just went with it. When my trial was done, I asked the receptionist if there was anything else I had to do. They said no, and I left, believing that was all included.

The next week, I saw a charge on my credit card for $110. I called and spoke with Casey for the first time and she told me that "no salon has a free trial." She explained that this $110 was in addition to the $491 I was quoted. After I explained to her that Sarah told me the opposite, and the pdf on their website listing their service explicitly states that wedding makeup includes a trial, she offered me $10 off my quote. I declined and cancelled the make up because I couldn't afford the "new" price. I decided to keep the hair appointment because I am not good with styling hair.

I asked Casey for a new itemized quote, and she did call to explain that there was no travel fee or service charge (just $303, a day rate), and I did appreciate that.

I called on 28 May to confirm my appointment with Kindsley to come to the hotel for my wedding updo, and the receptionist confirmed that this was still a go. I offered to pay, and she (the receptionist) said it would be charged later.

On my wedding day, Kindsley did not show up or call. She was scheduled to arrive at 8am, and she never came. I called the salon twice, but it doesn't open until 9am, and I could not leave a voicemail. I also emailed both her and Casey. At 8:42am, Casey called me and explained that when I cancelled the make up appointment, Alicia had also told Kindsley that the hair appointment was cancelled as well. Casey said that another stylist, Tarah, was on her way to do my hair.

Tarah was very nice, and I really appreciate that she was able to come on such short notice. However, I showed her several pictures of my trial hair, and she did not give me the same updo. My hair was also very loose, and my bridesmaids had to continue to fix my updo as it kept falling out. I was very disappointed.

Tarah did do an excellent job on my Mom and bridesmaid's hair, and I am very thankful for that. The next week, I was charged the full amount ($303), no discount for what had happened.

My wedding was a wonderful day, but I was very disappointed that an Aveda salon would provide such lackluster service. I would not recommend using William Edge Salon for special occasions.

The professionalism and hospitality was exceptional. I was very pleased with the color and cut which were done by two different associates. I would highly recommend anyone to this salon.
