I have had 2 appointments cancelled on me in the past 3 weeks. I am extremely disappointed and will look elsewhere for services.

So about 6 weeks ago my husband and I had both our hair done. There's some raffle being sold and we purchase some of the tickets which I received a 15 minutes complimentary massage at any time. However every time I stop by to receive it, no massage therapy is available (3 times) I stop by and because it's a complimentary they're not accepting appointment for this. Today I called to confirm my hair appointment for tomorrow and ask if there would be a possibility I could have the complimentary massage as well since I would be in already, answer "no but if we have a massage therapy available, then maybe". This does not feeling like customer friendly atmosphere and am highly considering to shop for new salon.

Will not come back. I had an appointment scheduled for over three months, and scheduled the day off from work around it. Got a call just 3 days prior that the stylist was not working on that day and needed to reschedule...so I moved everything to another day to accommodate. When I got there on Friday, I had the most rushed and incomplete haircut I'd ever had. I got the impression I was squeezed in (if you don't have time for a simple wash, cut, and dry...please don't schedule me). I left with an incomplete cut -- still finding uneven pieces two days later, and my hair was still damp when I left. It wasn't just a bad cut, the experience left me feeling totally brushed aside and will make that my last trip to this salon.

I went to the Veda Salon at University Village for the first time - I normally go to the one on Woodmen. The stylist was really rough with my hair. The hair wash was actually painful, lots of pulling and her long finger nails stabbed me in the neck repeatedly. Also, I was supposed to process for 45 minutes and sat processing for at least an hour. The color was much darker than normal despite the formula being in the system, perhaps I processed too long. Finally, there are some sections of my hair that seem lighter than others. I would not go back to this salon location or the stylist, though I have always been happy with the services at the Academy location.

I can't ever get the posts out on Yelp - but wanted you to know that Alika did an amazing job with my hair color and cut. I have resistant grey's and he always takes the time to make sure the right formula is mixed up and my hair color is perfect.

Just as a side bar I wish you still did the hand massage in the color processing area like you used to.

So my previous experience with Lindsay was 5-stars, but she was pretty booked so I went w another"master-stylist", Amber and though was nice enough, her status of "master stylist" is in question... I've given it about 2 weeks and my head is still "sore". Today I realized that my scalp is actually peeling, which would leave me to believe a "chemical burn" of sorts... The cut was mediocre. Again, she was nice enough, but I requested and paid for someone at "master stylist" or "above" qualifications and I'm not certain my most recent experience falls under "master stylist" status...

I certainly wouldn't post this on a review site, because I do really like your facility, just wanted to communicate my "concern"... Thank you!

The front desk needs additional personnel. People who are responsive, courteous & people oriented. For example, yesterday when I arrived for my service, there was 1 lady on the telephone with a client. Two other ladies were leaning on the counter behind her; these 2 were talking. Meanwhile myself and 2 other clients stood their waiting to be acknowledged so we could head over to our respective service areas. I do not normally write any feedback for my Veda visits, however, since this is NOT the first time this has happened and I felt compelled to write. When my service was complete there was only 1 lady at the registers & she was on the phone with a client. When she was off the telephone I asked her were the other 2 ladies were; she said 1 went to lunch & she did not know were the other lady was. Please note, once again 2 additional clients besides myself were waiting to be taken care of. I love my service provider, Stephanie B. She is the only reason I come to the Veda at University Village. Please address this ongoing issue. Thank you.
