Pleasant experience so far. Was seen as a a "work-in" so was expecting a wait. Was seen and examined promptly. Everyone was friendly and courteous. The x-ray showed that I have an abcess and need a root canal. I was given an antibiotic and pain med prescription in case it gets uncomfortable before the root canal. I was given a referal to three different endodontists, hoping that one of them would take my insurance. Two do, but upon reflection, I began to wonder why no dentist at this office can do my root canal. Maybe it's a complicated one and they feel I need a specialist. I guess it's my fault for not asking, but I think they should have told me. I've never been to a regular dentist's office that didn't do root canals. I will call back and ask first thing Tuesday morning before scheduling the appointment with the specialist. Reserving top ratings until after my question is answered and my appointment with the hygienist next week.
