Over the last 18 mos, my experiences with Aveda have gotten progressively worse. Each experience has become more disappointing and I feel a real detachment between the instructor to student interface that ultimately leaves the customer with not only an amateur outcome but lacking a continuity one would expect from an Aveda product. Surely, the staff see the slipage or are too disassociated to be concerned. As a former career college staff, I always try and support a student experience. Unfortunately, I am tired of having to follow up my Aveda experience with a "clean up" from Great Clips as I wouldn't dare enter a reputable salon and try to explain the current state of my current cut.
