The receptionists are very nice and good with scheduling. The girl who dyed my hair though was also nice at first, but proceeded to be very awkward as the appointment went on. She only talked to me for about the first 5 minutes and I was there a bit over an hour and a half. She kept disappearing for long periods of time without telling me so it was a mystery whether she was there with me or not. What little she did talk to me about, she asked me some personal questions like how old I was and if I was planning on having kids...kind of awkward and strange. Then I heard her gossip to another stylist about somebody who had walked into the waiting area. Pretty rude behavior really. She also acted like it would be a pain to do the mini facial that was supposed to come with a hair dye anyway... The supervisor that oversaw her work though was extremely nice and professional and kept offering me drinks. The other stylists that I watched also seemed very nice and talked to their patrons. I guess the girl that dyed my hair was very young, but that still doesn't excuse some pretty rude and unprofessional behavior. I would come back here though because I'd want a different stylist, most other people seemed much more friendly and helpful than her.

I went to Aveda for a haircut and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service. Bri was pleasant, attentive, and able to meet my request for the style I wanted. She was very positive and maintained her focus on cutting my hair while conversing. The supervisors were competent and encouraging, which are signs of a good instructor. I look forward to having my next haircut at Aveda.

Happy with my hair but I sat in a chair for over 3 hours

Got the worst haircut I've ever had. It looked like someone put a shorter wig on top of my hair. Not only that, when I expressed my concerns, 3 different instructors couldn't salvage it. Also they acted like i was an idiot and tried to educate me on what layers were. I know what layers are, I've had plenty of haircuts in 28 years. The student didn't even bother to ask me to fill out the survey at the end, she knew I wasnt happy. I've been here 3 times and the first time was good but the last 2 have confirmed that I will never return nor recommend it to anyone else.

The service is comparable to what you'd expect from an exclusive (expensive) spa/salon. The approach to customer satisfaction is evident from the time you arrive until you leave. The attention to every 'little' detail results in 'Big' satisfaction. Everyone...students, instructors...displays professionalism, along with friendly & warm attitude.

I was impressed by how quickly Sandi was able to do an excellent shampoo and thermal! She used the golden comb hair dryer which relaxed most of the curl before she finished with the flat iron for a smooth and polish result. I love coming to Aveda to enjoy the blue room shampoo, massage and mini-facial. Today's service was extra enjoyable and time efficient. Early in, early out!

Great experience at Aveda.....started with a scalp massage and mini facial in the Blue Room (really could have stayed there for hours!!) and moved to the stylist's booth for a great new look! She was very professional and the instructors worked very well with the stylist. Love my new look!
