I've been a regular for years and usually have been very pleased with my experience. This particular time I was a bit uncomfortable w/the stylist as she appeared a novice with lack of confidence.
I asked her to leave the hair on top of my head long & to not touch it. Instead she chopped it off.
I had also ordered a nose wax service. She has another stylist train her and go over the steps but never watched her. She not only applied wax in my nostril but she also applied wax on my moustache. I was nervous when she's tug on the wax for my nose that she'd pull hairs from my stache as well. Luckily that didn't happen but she left tons of wax in my nose & then said thank you, we're all done here.
If I wanted to get my services at a school, I would. I didn't expect novice "still training" stylists at this salon.
