The wait time is unacceptable. We had a 3:30 appt. for both of my kids. It was 4:15 when my son was called into the exam room by the nurse. We then had to wait another 10-15 min. before the nurse practitioner came into the room. When I had made this follow-up appt. for this day, I was not told we were not going to be seeing the doctor. My daughter's appt. was for the same 3:30 time slot, and she was taken to the exam room after my son. So it was after 4:15 when she was escorted to the exam room. I went from his exam room to her exam room when he was finished and she was seen by the same nurse practitioner...for the same appt. time, which was extremely delayed. We left the office at about 4:50 p.m. from a 3:30 appt., The appts, only constituted a quick look at their faces to see that the medicine is working...a total of 5 or 6 minutes w/ the practitioner.
I am sharing this feedback in hopes that the facility will take the feedback seriously and try to implement a better, more efficient system to run their office. If I make an appt. for a certain time, and then I am told that I will be charged a penalty fee if I am late, or if I am no-show because it's an office policy, then I think we deserve the same respect from a providers office... in honoring my appointment time. We had ultimately missed the next thing we had planned that day, which was a sports practice for one of my kids. If we had had the 3:30 appt. as planned, was looked at by the practitioner for the 5 minutes for each kid, we would have made the 4:15. practice.
